It's Always Play Time!

Carolina Beach is located 19 miles south of Wilmington, NC, on the northern end of Pleasure Island, a classic NC island playground aptly named to include nearby Kure Beach. There's great seafood and music and the famed sights, sounds and treats on the Carolina Beach Boardwalk. For history and under the sea buffs, the Fort Fisher State Historic site and the NC Aquarium at Fort Fisher are just down the road. 

Extend your weekend getaway into a weeklong vacation and include events like the Pleasure Island Seafood, Blues & Jazz Festival, North Carolina Aquarium Trick or Treat Under the Sea and the Surf Fishing Challenge. And historic Wilmington is just up the road. So why play elsewhere when this and more is so easily accessible by interstate and less than a tank of gas for most in-state visitors.
