The park's family campground is located in a wooded area near Snow's Cut. Pine and oak provide shade for 83 campsites, including two wheelchair-accessible sites. Each site is equipped with a picnic table and grill. Drinking water and restrooms with hot showers are located nearby. Campsites are available on a first-come basis for a modest fee. Hookups are not provided for recreational vehicles, but a dump station is available for a fee.

Freeman Park Recreation Area

Freeman Park is located one mile north of Canal Drive. Permits are required, $60 annual or $20 day. Must have four wheel drive vehicle to navigate through the sand.

Joyner Marina welcomes all transient boaters on the trips north, south, or in between! We are conveniently located directly on the ICW at Green Marker 161 and Mile Maker 295 in Carolina Beach, NC. We are one mile south of the Carolina Beach Inlet, and located at Snows Cut which provides easy access to the ocean or the Cape Fear River. We have over 200’ of dockage available on our fuel pier, and many transient slips inside our basin. Our amenities include gas and diesel fuel pumps, waste pump-out facility, laundry and shower facilities, free Wi-Fi, a 3 block walk to the beach, and convenient access to shops, stores, dining, and night life.
